Did you know that Alzheimer’s disease is the 6th leading cause of death? According to the Alzheimer’s Association, it kills more than breast & prostate cancer combined. Sadly, more than 5 million American’s are living with Alzheimer’s and every 67 seconds, someone in the U.S. develops the disease.
If you know someone who suffers from Alzheimer’s or dementia, and want to build awareness, support your community and advocate for those affected by the disease, please join us for a ‘Gala To Remember’ hosted by the Franklin County Dementia Care Coalition. The FCDCC “has devoted its energy to passionately advocating for and supporting the families in Franklin County that are facing a diagnosis of Dementia, are caring for a loved one with a diagnosis of Dementia or know someone with Dementia.”
